Our projects
Full Scholarship
We select talented girls from poor families who have the desire to study but lack the means to attend school, and we provide them with full scholarships.
The scholarship includes uniform, lunch and school equipment.
Weekend Classes
Every Saturday, approximately one hundred girls attend our school, engaging in classes covering English, Math, Geography, Physics, Creative Arts, Reading, and Chess.
The Angel Parents Program
Angel Parents is an online community for sponsors from various countries who provide financial support to designated students. As of June 2024, 52 Angel Parents are helping our girls attend school. We seek out individuals interested in sponsoring our girls' education, connect them with the students, and maintain detailed records.
Chess Classes
The school has chess classes for both students and their mothers.
Self defense classes
We recognize the importance of self-defense training for our girls, both for personal safety and to build self-confidence.
Tailoring classes for mothers
A group of 28 young mothers is actively involved in the project, becoming an integral part of the Kalingalinga community. They participate in the following activities: making patchwork jackets, clothes, and shopper bags with traditional Chitenge patterns. The mothers are paid for their work, and the profits from these sales support both their livelihoods and the school's financial needs.
Creative classes
Our creative arts classes include activities such as public speaking, library sessions, book discussions, drawing, and postcard making.
