The Kalingalinga Girls Project was founded in 2019 by Yanina Dubeykovska and her children, Svetlana and Alexei.
Initially, we offered Saturday classes for 20 girls, who received training from volunteer football coaches from Kalingalinga, a densely populated area in central Lusaka, Zambia.
In 2020, we secured a hall for regular classes and officially registered the organization. Our primary goal was to establish and fully fund a school for girls from low-income families.
By June, 2024:
More than 100 girls attend Saturday classes
73 girls receive full scholarships
Once a year we start a summer volunteer camp.
38 young mothers attend Chess and Tailoring classes.
Recognize and support the most talented girls within the school to maximize their potential.
Expanding Angel Parents Program
Increase the number of Angel Parents to 100 by 2025 to further support our students.
Establishing a Boarding School
Develop a dedicated boarding school for the top-performing girls to provide an enriched learning environment.
Building Partnerships
Collaborate with a second school in another Lusaka compound and launch a scholarship program there.
Partnering with Colleges
Collaborate with education institutions to provide opportunities for top graduates in Nursery and General Teaching.
Extending Full Scholarships
Provide full scholarships for 200 girls to attend a designated school by January 2025, ensuring they receive a quality education.

Kalingalinga
Kalingalinga is a densely populated district in Lusaka, Zambia, known for its low-income residential status. It developed as an informal settlement in the mid-20th century, accommodating families moving from rural areas in search of better opportunities. Today, Kalingalinga reflects the broader urban challenges of Lusaka, characterized by high population density and limited infrastructure, yet it remains a vital part of the city's vibrant community.
